Friends and Supporters,

Thanks to all of you who attended last week's West Fort Bend Republican Women's Club Candidate Forum, featuring our race for State Representative, District 26.  It was standing-room only and we've received a lot of positive feedback from the people who were there.

If we missed you, don't worry; we have other forums coming up soon.  Please try to attend and encourage others to attend as well.  Your help is critical as we continue to deliver our conservative message across the District.  Free enterprise and economic freedom will need a strong defense during the next legislative session.  I want to go to Austin to lead that fight as a proven conservative, and, with your help, I will do exactly that.

We will be getting our conservative message out at these upcoming forums:

State Representative HD26 Candidate Forum

Hosted by the Spirit of Freedom Republican Women PAC

Friday, March 16th

Sugar Creek Baptist Church

11:00 am

State Representative HD26 Candidate Forum

Hosted by the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce

Monday, March 26th

Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce

As always, I appreciate your time and your support.  I hope to see you there.

Jacquie Chaumette--Proven Conservative for House District 26

posted Feb 13, 2012 8:53 AM by Crissy Nolen

Chaumette logo

Friends and Supporters,

As my campaign for House District 26 continues in full swing, I wanted to reach out to discuss my views and economic approach.

Over the last four years, I have worked with other public officials to maintain a thriving and successful economy in Sugar Land.  While I am certainly proud of those efforts, I am particularly pleased that our City used conservative financial methods to achieve our goals.  We have one of the top bond ratings and financial records in the country, and that's through hard work and dedication to conservative values and wonderful constituents.  I'm honored to stand on that record.

Now, I want to take these principles - our Sugar Land model -- to Austin.  Will you be part of that step, our next success story?  Can we count on your help for a donation to our campaign?  You can contribute online and it only takes a quick minute.

If you have not already contributed to our campaign, please don't wait another day.  As we get closer to our primary date, your contribution will deliver a strong message that our conservative leadership is what this district needs and what the Republican leaders and voters of this district want.  Thanks so much in advance for your consideration.

Texas Straw Poll Results, Events & More

posted Jan 16, 2012 8:05 AM by Crissy Nolen

This weekend we participated in our first Straw Poll and were victorious.  Tea Party groups organized the survey to give conservative voters a voice in national, state and local politics.  There were 707 paper ballots collected and counted at the event.  Our campaign received 55.9% of those votes.  The details are here:

http://saddleuptexaspoll.com/2012/01/saddle-up-texas-results/

We are truly thankful for all of your support for our conservative message.

This past week, we also began our receptions throughout the District so that we can meet more people and discuss issues facing our community.  The response thus far has been amazing -- and inspiring. Our campaign continues to gain momentum, and the excitement is palpable.  Below are the details about our next receptions.  We hope you can attend one of them to hear more about our campaign and our message.

Fort Bend affected by new legislative redistricting maps

posted Nov 24, 2011 3:47 PM by Jacqueline Chaumette   [ updated Nov 24, 2011 6:38 PM by Crissy Nolen ]

On November 17, 2011, the Texas legislative map changed again.  Our campaign is excited about the neighborhoods that have been added to our district. I look forward to meeting people from those areas over the next few months, and I know that I can represent all of us well as our State Representative.

May this time of year give you more reasons to be appreciative and thankful.
May you be blessed this Thanksgiving and always.
